Who We Are
Pender Brothers Incorporated is a family owned and operated business. They are a South Carolina licensed mechanical contractor, fully insured, providing plumbing, welding, heating, ventilation and air conditioning installation and service to the residential, light commercial and commercial markets in the Beaufort County area. We distinguish ourselves by providing superior goods and services to our customers and we value each employee’s contribution to insuring and maintaining the integrity of the company’s good name and reputation.
Through the years Pender Brothers has been a supporter of community activities such as Beaufort Water Festival, supporting local schools and different athletic groups, charities and local military.
History of the Company
The company was founded in 1985 when brothers Jimmy & Johnny Pender relocated to Beaufort from the Columbia metropolitan area. They started out as a plumbing and welding business with just Jim and Johnny and their wives, Jackie & Mary Anne. They have grown from 4 employees to at one time over 40.
In 1996 they expanded the business with the addition of the HVAC Division becoming a Bryant Factory Authorized Dealer. Shortly thereafter they relocated from their little warehouse in Burton to their current location in Port Royal where Pender Brothers, Inc. employs approximately 25 employees but still maintains a family oriented atmosphere.
